We took a hike to Bear Cave. I took some pictures looking like a bear in the cave and in a rock. Then, we took a hike down to Canyon Trail and saw the emerald pools and a Copperhead snake. We walked over 3 miles, it was steep and flat. We saw lots of butterflies, a grasshopper and a frog who jumped on my arm. We ate lunch at the Mather Lodge, it was named for the man who was the father of National Parks. We walked down to Cedar Falls overlook. Then, we went swimming in the pool. I learned how to do flips and they had a slide I went down. We swam for three hours. We came to the Mather Lodge. We got a Cobb salad, squash, fruit, soup and a chicken cheese quesadilla.
